Turn your 6 hour Albury to Sydney or Sydney to Albury drive into a 4 day Public Art holiday!During 2020 - 2021 I renovated my investment property in Albury while living in Sydney. I'm a HUGE Art fanatic and with every back and forth trip I picked a different route to cram in as much art content as I could find.
Now, I don't have everything! but as far as Street Art and Roadside Fare go I think I've come pretty darn close. My public art list could do with a light polish but I've supplied a good sprinkle I hope you guys can utilize on your trips.
As always. If you find my content helpful. Please give it a share on your socials.
We'll begin on the outskirts of Sydney.

Back on the Highway You'll find yourself on the Old Hume Highway to capture this staple Kitsch Item. From the BIG Apple
you'll have a choice to make.
|
Yerrinbool | BIG Apple |
▪ Continue on the Hume Motorway which will have two stops; OR
▪ Continue on the OLD Hume Hwy passing towns such as Mittagong, Moss Vale & Sutton Forest.
The OLD Hume Hwy will offer you seven stops, more if you do your own searches. I strongly recommendation this route if you have the time!

Berrima | BIG Corkscrew |
⏸ The
second stop is Zen Oasis in Berrima, you will need to check trading times or you'll end up like me, arriving on a non trading day.
I have plans to try again this week on my last trip back to Albury. Hopefully I'll have some pictures to add here

I never use to stop at murals that weren't produced with aerosol cans but since building this blog I've been interested in documenting everything which means stopping at most things. If you don't stop at the murals on the way to Gundagai, I don't blame you. Keep in mind though; your taste in art may change over time and since you're passing through town it may be worth snapping a quick photo to keep future you from having regrets later on.

Gundagai
I found Gundagai to be a very rich town considering how small it is. Like most towns the last 5 years has seen Gundagai embrace Street Art leaving it an exceptional and a must stop for any art collector.
