I took this photo from a boat. We went fishing that morning and I was surprised to find a painted demountable near the boat ramp. I fully intended to return to this spot and take some proper photos but I never ended up doing so.
I'm not exactly sure what the structure was for but it's found on Entertainment road in front of the carpark to the Villa Resort Casimo.
I didn't know this until a few months after I left Townsville but had I committed to visiting this artwork again and photographing it from the road I would have learnt that a few meters away at the intersection was a painted electrical box that's magnificently painted and well worth seeing.
