Painted in 2011 this is possibly one of the oldest painted water towers I've ever visited with the exception of Tasmania's George Town tower.
Lee Homes pays homage to the Humpback Whale migration that can be observed every year from this location.
The artist has one other artwork in the area, that I know of, and I completely missed it passing through Sawtell. Kicking myself!
The old water tower is located at the end of Ocean Street in Woolgoolga.
