Two days after arriving in Brisbane, staying with my sister in law and three nephews, I was talking to my sister (Jess) about the volume of art I'd been visiting and adventures I'd had thus far. She said all she felt like she did these days was work so I asked if she'd like to come on a day trip to Toowoomba for an artventure.
We left at day break and didn't get back to the car until late that evening. I took 350 photos and Jess was a good sport following me around and patiently waiting while I snapped photos. She's not an art lover but said she enjoyed the walk enough but "never again"
There's a lot of art in Toowoomba. There were a few I'd love to post, and I will, but for now my favourite. For message alone I really liked this 2016 wall by The Zookeeper.
This mural was located at the end of Bank Ln. Upon google mapping the Lane to confirm it's presence I discovered another mural in it's place. The Zookeepers mural survived seven years but perished sometime in 2023 or 2024.
