"Human connection is a vitamin for the soul" The artist isn't wrong. As antisocial as I am outside of work I enjoy my work because it allows me to connect when I normally wouldn't.
The artist felt that the saturation of fear within ourselves, our community and more importantly the media had us disconnect and trapped us in a place outside of our norm. Depicted is two people sharing an intimate moment wearing gas masks.
The artist reminds us through his mural, 'Trapped in the Third Dimension' how important intimacy and relationships are during a time when we're expected to distance ourselves from others and possibly feel very disconnected.
One of the more clever and meaningful murals I've seen portraying the 2019-2021 'pandemic'
