Nick Azidis

I passed this mural while collecting the keys to our apartment for the week. I've learnt it's apart of a project named 'Flash Forward which was kick started by the City of Melbourne. It's seen Highlander Ln and 39 others transformed by artists in an effort to revitalize dark and drab spaces within the city. 

The goal was to connect artists with walls to create a connection between laneways and local business's while bringing a sense of place through paint, light and creative installations.

Azidis's mural is a geometric marvel full of color and vibrancy. Original photos show the surrounding ground  and side walls also painted which when approached swallowed the viewer into a more 3D environment but this was all that was present.
