Maddison Gibbs
I stumbled across this painted tank in Beaman Park by accident. While the mural itself looked old it was in fact painted some time in 2021/2022.
Maddison was given creative control with the tank with a water concept and it's importance to locals in the area.
Maddison has depicted a school of fish swimming around an ocean floor littered with what I can't quite tell are either fish traps or discarded water bottles.
Maddison has been described as an activist so it's possible the artist left them someone ambiguous to highlight the importance of both.
