Brett Mon Garling
Two of these bronze dogs were said to live in the Forbes town center. This wonderful installment which resides out the front of the local Post Office and a second that was said to be one street up peeing on a lamppost in front of the local Art Gallery.
While I found this lonely fella looking like he was waiting for his beloved human to fetch him I could not locate the second. I'm hoping I simply missed him but I was fairly thorough with the drive bys and went around the block twice.
Brett Mon Garling is known to me. I've visited his 'Windjammer Sailor' statue near Sydney's Maritime Museum and have his BIG Blue Heeler monument in Muswellbrook on my BIG Thing list still to visit.
The Sculpture is called 'Rosa' Rosa was named after the architect who designed the Post Office and was affectionately named by the township. Rosa is one of many sculptures commissioned by the Sculpture Down the Lachlan in 2018
