BIG Barrel
I spend a fair bit of time on Instagram. Always scrolling across American content of their giant themed restaurants and amusement parks. It makes you envious. I often find myself thinking, we need more of that here in Australia and slowly by slowly I'm finding that we do.
This winery is designed to appear as a wine barrel. It was closed when I arrived and I couldnt get past the gates. There was one a decade ago which became a staple in the Australian Roadside World but succumbed to a fire and perished.
Handwood isn't the only BIG Barrel, there is, yet another in Bundaberg and I suspect more, we just need to find them.
