Clarence Point Sculpture Gallery
We passed a rather large wheelbarrow sitting in a paddock on our way to George town and I resolved to stop on the way back. Normally I'd just photograph from the fence line but Mat noted a sign while I had my face buried in my phone and in the gates to the outdoor gallery we went.
The proprietor was passionate! It was fantastic to see and hear his talk about his work as he took us through his work shed. If memory serves he was a woodworker / cabent maker and made all sorts of custom furnishings. Maty at the time was into knife making and after being told about the various types of wood and looking at some of his tables he was resolved to find a native oak on our holiday to take home and carve into a handle.
As Maty waffled about wood I snuck to the paddock for a few photos. This place was delightful. They got very creative with their garden which made for some really cool memories.
