I was attracted to this sculpture because I was under the impression it flew around the pole with the wind like it really was in flight.
Clearly the day wasn't windy enough because Michael Murphys 'Egret in Flight' didn't bat a wing. I imagine it's quite the spectacle and will continue to visit every time I'm in the area for that elusive video.
Michaels sculpture was installed in 1999 and can be located within the round a bout connecting Peter & Morgan Streets
