Isn't this playground exquisite?!!! Interactive playgrounds in the guise of larger than life objects are becoming more common in Australia in the last few years. We've seen it in Yunderup, WA with their giant piggy and we've seen it in Craigieburn, Victoria with their Golden Sun Moth.
This playground is the child of Benjamin Gilbert a.k.a Agency of Sculpture and Simone Bliss dating way back to 2013. It's located at the National Arboretum Canberra and I was lucky enough to go on an extremely cold day so I only had to avoid photographing one child.
Locating this sculpture isn't hard. It's BIG and stands out really well.
