If you've taken a walk down High Street in Wodonga central you'll have noticed these critters by Dean Bowen. I've seen a much bigger echidna displayed at a winery before but was thrilled to find some of Dean Bowens work in Albury/Wodonga. Dean Bowens work appears to always have a strange twist or quirk to it whether the work is elongated, thin or like the BIG Owl in Belconnen, phallic shaped.
The Wombats plaque says he's 1/6 created in 2019 and while I suspect the Echidna is 2/6 I've seen a few other bronze pieces but suspect I haven't discovered all of Deans work in Albury.
