BIG Thing
I've seen BIG Books in America but was super excited when Barb Menz-Walker discovered these in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
Located at the towns local Library reviews for the sculpture were surprisingly not in the sculptures favor.
Most reviews saw the installation as a waste of money and stated the book titles had little to do with Alice Springs. Despite the reviews I found it to be quite fun & whimsical. It was a great stop for me to satisfy thirst for art and provided a nice stop to break up my drive South.
The installation was commissioned and installed in 2018. I still don't know who made it 😬
