I missed out of doing Uluru in 2016 as my partner had a dog and we were on our way to the Northern Territory to live.

Byron Bay | The Uncle Project

I wasn't sure if I should count this one but I figured a painted tank is a painted tank no matter the condition or quality. It's faded, it's flaked and its quite hard to see. This little hub of art I had associated with the name The Uncle Project. This might be something the Uncle project did with the children or just at the same space the children meet with their uncles. The uncle project is something I'd heard about in America and the mom part of me gushed a little when I read a program like this existed in Australia. Young men aged, 6-13 without a male influence were paired with adult males to provide them with a positive male role model in their lives. There are two tags that I could see; Zig and GG. Both of the names are unfamiliar to me.

Casino | The Brightsiders & Steve Falco

The Brightsiders & Steve Falco Nothing is harder that trying to take a photo of a raised object from well below it's base. This little water tower really needs a drone for a decent ariel photo or a very good zoom on a decent camera. I got a bit confused with who to credit for this one. For a heartbeat I assumed Steve Falco owned the company The Brightsiders but after checking tags Steve credits @Jaybeezart as a collaborator whose account is no longer active. The early posts from The Brightsiders does have many comments congratulating a Jordan. After a bit more digging I checked the tag #Jaybeezart which led me to an account by Jordan Bruce who YES!! references them selves as the brightsiders. So.... The Brightsiders A.K. A Jordan Bruce Art and Steve Falco created this wonderful tower which is challenging as buggery to photograph. Lanitza | Unknown

Unknown Artist I've somehow mapped all the way to the 11th, which completes my Northern Roadtrip to the boarder of NSW / Queensland, without making a post. It's pretty slow going between picking up extra shifts at work, finishing of my Townsville art map and caring for the baby. I can't tell you much about this incredibly old water tank. It's small and unless you're heading past it's probably not worth the detour. I really relish anything silo art so never gave it a second though. Despite either being very old, painted in the wrong materials or possibly just never unsealed it made for the perfect stop to get out and stretch the legs. 📍 Crn: Orara Way & E Lanitza Rd, Lanitza
