Wave Rock
I tried reading into the cause of the rocks formation in order to write a snippet to accompany this post but I'm a simple creature and the jargon went right over my head. I was glad to have been one of the estimated 100k people that visit Wave Rock annually though. It's an exceptional place.
The wave is around 15m in height and while there is a walking trail I didn't pay for parking and didn't want to risk a fine so I didn't stay long. There's apparently a free camp site further up the road I wish I had known about at the time. I would have stayed the night and really explored the area.
