The Berry Springs Nature Reserve is a really interesting place.
It's choc filled with strange sculptures, fun ranger / animal interactions and the bus.... don't get me started on the tour train! I'm easily excitable! The fact there's a open cart style train that loops the venue for you to hop on/ off made this not only the best zoo/ reserve I've ever been to but it made it really easy to get around a reserve that's quite huge.
Admittance was quite steep but it was worth it. Walking around a zoo like this where the animals had a decent amount of space didn't leave me sad like most parks have in the past. The interaction the wild life attendant had with the Rays and fish was amazing and shows the great repour they have with the inhabitance.
