Termite Mounds of the NT
When I moved to the Northern Territory and before I used beer as a means to keep cool and hydrate, yep, I went there! I looked like this.
Wasn't I a dish!
I'm standing in front of a termite mound somewhere in the Litchfield National Park.
When you make the drive into the NT you'll find millions of these and the further North you go the bigger they'll get.
You'll also note the Territorian tradition of dressing them up.
You're not suppose to, but it's an extremely fun pass time photographing the amazingly dressed ones on the way up the Highway.
Anyway, this is one of many standard photos's most people take while exploring the NT, and for good reason, I've never seen one before and they're quite the something
